The bargain

Mephistopheles — Mephisto — is the devil of the Faust legend, given his most famous voice by Goethe: a sly, elegant fiend who offers the restless scholar Faust everything the world can give, in exchange for his soul. He is temptation with perfect manners, ruin dressed up as a favour.

This design renders him as pure heraldry — the name in red gothic letters spread across grey demon wings — embroidered on heavyweight black fleece.

The Emblem

Front chest — embroidered winged emblem

The emblem sits at the left chest as raised embroidery — the name in red gothic thread over outstretched grey wings, edged in dashed bone stitching, quiet against the black fleece until it catches the light.

Care

Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colours. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the embroidery. Reshape while damp and avoid wringing to keep the fleece soft.
