The Four Cylinder Revolution — 1969 Tee
A graphic tee inspired by 1969 — the year the inline-four superbike changed motorcycling for good.

The Design Story
Four cylinders that changed everything
In 1969 a motorcycle arrived that rewrote the rules: the first mass-produced inline-four superbike, with a front disc brake and electric start, wrapped in a shape anyone could ride. Overnight the exotic became attainable, and the roar of four cylinders became the sound of a new era.
This design renders that machine in full — a café-racer built on the four-cylinder engine that started it all — drawn like a plate from an old workshop manual, the year 1969 struck beneath it in red.

The Print

Plate I · Front chest — DLF hexagon badge
Plate II · Full back — The Four Cylinder Revolution, 1969
The chest wears the De La Forme hexagon badge in tonal black; the back carries the full archive plate — the café-racer, the four-into-four exhaust, and the year 1969 — printed to sit quietly against the pigment-dyed ground.

Care
Keeping the wash
Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colours. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the print. Because the fabric is pigment dyed, a gentle, gradual fade is part of the design — it will keep looking better the more you wear it.
