The Aldehyde Revolution — C-12 Tee
A graphic tee inspired by 1921 — the year synthetic aldehydes rewrote what perfume could be.

The Design Story
The scent of nothing in nature
In 1921, a Paris perfumer did something no one had dared: he built a fragrance around aldehydes — synthetic molecules that smelled of nothing that grew. Sparkling, abstract, impossibly clean, they lifted the flowers beneath them into something the world had never smelled before.
This design frames that revolution in a single flacon — the faceted Art Deco bottle marked Aldehyde C-12 · 1921 — printed like a plate lifted from a modernist perfumer’s dossier.

Care
Keeping the wash
Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colours. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the print. Because the fabric is pigment dyed, a gentle, gradual fade is part of the design — it will keep looking better the more you wear it.
