The Capital of Scent — Grasse Tee
A graphic tee inspired by Grasse — the French town that became the perfume capital of the world.

The Design Story
The town that smelled of roses
In the 1500s a small town in Provence traded its tanneries for flowers. Grasse’s glove-makers began scenting their leather with rose and jasmine, and the hills around them filled with blossom. From that turn came copper stills, floral waters — eau florale de Grasse — and, in time, the capital of perfume itself.
This design centres the alembic that made it possible — a copper still crowned in rose and jasmine — printed like a plate lifted from an old distiller’s manual.

Care
Keeping the wash
Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colours. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the print. Because the fabric is pigment dyed, a gentle, gradual fade is part of the design — it will keep looking better the more you wear it.
